Line Chart
A single series draws itself left to right with a moving head dot; the final value lands in a callout. Growth-story slide, zero After Effects.
Put this in your video
A growth story: one series drawing itself left to right. Paste this into Claude Code, Codex, or any coding agent.
Use the OverlayMotion video templates from https://github.com/ricardo/overlay-motion Add the Line Chart template titled "MRR, last 12 months" with the values 4, 4.6, 5.1, 5, 6.2, 7.4, 8.1, 9.6, 10.8, 12.4, 14.2, 16.9, starting at Sep, ending at Aug, suffix k.
- Have ready: The title, the numbers in order, and the labels for the first and last point.
- Works over any clip, and still renders with no clip at all.
- Defaults to the center of the frame for about 12 seconds. Ask for another spot, a start time, or a longer hold.
- A correction is one sentence: “Draw the line more slowly and hold the final callout.”
